The "Lecture Room" project has been launched in the trains "Strizh"

The JSC "FPC", the branch office of OJSC "RZD" and non-profit project "Arzamas" have launched a joint initiative "Lecture Room" in trains "Strizh", which are operating on the route Moscow - Nizhniy Novgorod and Moscow - Berlin. The passengers are able to listen to the lectures on history, literature, art, anthropology, and philosophy. The lectures are being broadcasted on the audio channel of the train's radio. 

 

The "Lecture Room" includes 14 courses: "The whole Shakespeare", "How to read Russian literature", "Revolution of 1917th", "The world of Bulgakov", "The Byzantium for beginners", "The sociology as a science of common sense", "The daily life of Paris", "Russian art of 20th century", "Geneology of Russian nationalism", "The birth, love and death of Russian dukes", "St. Petersburg prior to revolution" and other.

 

The lecturing is done by professors of psychology, sociology, history, and philosophy, the staff members of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and international educational institutions.
