Hello from Vladivostok! My name is Nadezhda. It is very interesting that the first person to be given birth to in Vladivostok was a girl with a symbolic name Nadezhda (“hope”). I have been working as a guide for many years and enjoy it very much. It is very interesting to meet new people and acquaint them with my hometown. Every time I tell my guests about Vladivostok I hope they will take in their hearts a small “piece” of this unique city on the edge of Russia. Vladivostok is young, romantic and full of energy. Welcome to our habour!
My name is Maria and I have been working as a tour guide since 2006. I was born in St. Petersburg and I grew up in this city. And, being a local guide I can offer you different tours –from classical tours such as to the Hermitage or Catherine’s palace –to some unusual tours like the metro tour, local life experience tour... I really love my city and I love my job! I always try to do my best to customize tours to the unique wishes, needs and desires of my clients! I really believe that only interaction with a local tour guide provides a better experience of the city and its spirit.
I was born in Moscow and know my hometown very well. I graduated from Moscow State University in 2009. The name of my faculty was "Foreign languages and regional studies". I also graduated from the Roman university "la Sapienza" in linguistics in 2012. Italian tourists are always happy with me, because I know Italian pretty well and I am pleased to share my knowledge and experience of Moscow’s ñharm and beauty. I also speak English and have an official accreditation to work with Italian and English language tourists. I am always glad to spend my time with people who like to discover the world.
I enjoy working as a tour guide as it gives me the great opportunity to travel around Mongolia. I have explored more than 15000 km, from Mongolian reindeer families in the north to the Mongolian Gobi desert on the south including central Mongolia and some of Mongolia’s lakes in the west. During my travels I was also able to improve my cooking skills and I served my dishes to my guests. I developed my skills in photographing and fishing with the help of some of my guests. Besides my interest in traveling, I am a competitive dancer and enjoy reading. I believe that reading helps to open our minds to the immeasurable values in our lives that we don’t see with our eyes.
My name is Elena. I have been leading tours with Express to Russia for many years. I believe that working with tourists is my avocation. Despite my engineering education, I always wanted to be a guide and therefore I completed tour guide and English courses during my years as a student. I have been working as a Moscow guide since 1996. I live in the city center and I love Moscow and try to pass the feeling of the city and its attitude to my guests. My main hobby is traveling. I have crossed Europe many times, I love discovering small elegant cities.
I have worked as an Italian guide since 2005. I live in St. Petersburg and I love this city. Each building here is a part of history; many famous people connected to art and culture have worked and lived here. There are so many museums in St. Petersburg: world famous and small ones. I enjoy creating new excursion programs. I will be happy to guide you to the State Hermitage Museum, Russian Museum, Peter and Paul Fortress, St Isaac’s Cathedral, Cathedral of the Savior on the Spilled Blood, Pushkin, Pavlovsk, Peterhof and others. Each year I fall in love with my profession more and more, as a guide is the link between the city and its guests. I think that the one of the most important things for a guide is not only to show the famous sights but also to tell the history of the city and to show its special atmosphere.
I'm Elvira, a tour guide from St. Petersburg, the city where I was born and raised. I've been working as an English-speaking guide since 2009 and I really enjoy doing this job. I graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State University, the second largest in the country, with a masters degree in linguistics. I've studied English since primary school and in my students years I participated in exchange programs in the USA. I am in love with my native city, which I consider to be the most beautiful in the world. It's a great pleasure and pride to be a representative of the cultural capital of Russia. I would like to share my feelings and knowledge about Saint-Petersburg with guests coming from faraway countries.
My name is Olga. I studied world history at the university, and reading and studying the history of Russia and art history is my main hobby. I have been guiding since 2009 and I adore my job. Saint Petersburg is my native city – and it is wonderful! During any season, any weather and at any time of day – it is different. It can be melancholy in the autumn rains, sparkling with winter snow and shimmering with hot summer sun – and I love it in all of its different forms. I like to show its wonders to visitors – and I like to witness the admiration for the city and the interest in our culture that arises while observing the beauties of the city and listening to the stories I tell :) Saint Petersburg deserves the fame it has and I am happy to be one of its guides.
