This year the festival will be hosting the famous French Canadian comic author Julie Doucet, who published "My New York Diary" in 1999, and later collaborated with director Michel Gondry on an animated short film based on the book. Boomfest will not only include exhibitions, but also several lectures, workshops, and a conference with representatives from all over Europe. The exhibitions will be held in St. Petersburg at various locations through October 16th, and comic will also be fore sale at the Small Hall of Manezh.
