A visit to a real Russian village of Koptelovo, while there you will get the chance to chop firewood, make fire and “gnat’ samogon” (traditional Russian moonshine). You will fetch water with a “koromyslo”, will try your hand at making woolen yarn on a spinning wheel. For dinner you will have potatoes with meat, cucumbers, and homemade wine. After that you will create a “snezhnuyu babu” or snowwoman in winter or a straw doll in summer. The highlight of the excursion is taking part in a Russian folk festival with folkdancing and folksongs and traditional games.
