The 24/7 call-center for tourists is now available in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg has launched tourist information support call-center. The call center is available from 9 am till 9 pm by phone numbers: 8 (812) 324 03 03 or 8 800 222-88-12. The calls are accepted from Russia and from abroad. The information support is available in Russian, English and Spanish languages.
The information provided by the service is diverse: from the addresses, phone numbers and companies' and organizations' operation hours, which provide tourism, transportation or excursion services, to the questions regarding the Visa arrangements for Russia.
The call-center specialists are able to help with the selection of the sightseeing routes and cultural events in the city, as well as advise the location of the tourism infrastructure facilities or closest currency exchange spot.
In May, also has started operation the mobile volunteer service Ask me SPb. Its specialists move on Segways and can be found on the territory of the Admiralty and Central districts of the city at the most touristic spots (the Spit of the Vasilevsky Island, the Savior on the Spilled Blood, the Bronze Horseman, the Gostiny Dvor, the Kazansky Cathedral and the Art's Square). They operate from 9 am till 8 pm. It is easy to distinguish them, all volunteers are dressed in the T-shirts with a signature "Ask me SPb". Their main task is to help the city guests to find the right venue or assist with any city's service. In particular, tourist can ask for a free map and other information materials, which would help to make a choice.
