Vladivostok City Tours

The panoramic tour of Vladivostok, is a good way to become acquainted with the main attractions and highlights of the city: the Vladivostok Railway Station – terminus of the Trans-Siberian railroad, the S-56 submarine on the harbor embankment and the area on which the city was founded 142 years ago. You will also visit the highly regarded Arseniev Museum to view exhibits of the region’s rich treasures of flora and fauna as well as the culture and history of the Vladivostok area.

This 8 hour excursion takes you to the unusual Russky Island. Here, you will admire picturesque views of the Pacific and will visit a number of forts and batteries which were built at the beginning of the 20th century. The part of the Vladivostok fortress located on Russky Island, is a Russian border point with Japan. One of the most interesting objects on the island is the Voroshilov battery, which operated until 1997. Today, tourists from Japan have a very strong interest in whether or not the battery still operates and in which direction the artillery is facing.
