Analytical agency "Tourstat" complied a rating of the most inexpensive Russian destinations to travel in Autumn 2017.
Top-10 of the most budget Russian regions' capitals popular with tourist includes Barnaul, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Smolensk, Kemerovo, Orel, Chelyabinsk, Bryansk and Izhevsk. Daily expenses in these cities rank between 2 and 2.5 thousand rubles.
Top-20 of regional capitals with a daily budget from 2.5 to 2.7 thousand rubles includes Saratov, Stavropol, Kaluga, Pskov, Ulyanovsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Cheboksary, Saransk and Ufa.
Daily budget comprises hotel or apartment cost basing on double-occupancy, lunch at a local cafe and a visit to a city museum in September, 2017.
Tourstat announces that internal tourism in Russia may reach 60 million people in 2017. Public events such as gastronomic, ethnographic and folk festivals, cultural and sport holidays contribute to a grows of incoming and internal tourism in Russian non-touristic regions.
