St. Petersburg to host the Tall Ships Races in 2021

St. Petersburg has started the preparation for the massive sports event - the Tall Ship Races, which will take place in the Northen Capital in 2021. The first publicly funded sailing yacht school has been open in St. Petersburg a year ago and is ready to accept the challenge and take part in the Sailing regatta 2021.

The St. Petersburg yacht school has been established on 8th of September 2017. According to the press-service of the administrative office of the governor, the mayor of the city has congratulated the school with the first anniversary this month and expressed his confidence in the competence of the current and future students of the school.

The Tall Ship Races has been established in order to preserve the art of sailing and teach it to the youth from all over the world. It is expected that over 3000 sportsmen from over 50 countries will take part in this race.
