Arrival in Kiev
On arrival in Kiev you will be met by our friendly representative who will escort you by car or mini bus to your hotel. On the way to the hotel, you will have the opportunity to get your first glimpse of this truly unique city. After settling in at the hotel, you will be taken for the city tour.
Panoramic City Tour - This tour will give you a great chance to become acquainted with the ancient city of Kiev.During panoramic city tour we will show you Kiev the capital of Ukraine and the cradle of Eastern Slavonic states of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The tour includes visit to Vladimir’s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. We will then continue on to St. Sophia´s Cathedral, a splendid specimen of the architecture of the 11th century which has survived the tatar-mongol invasion and all the following wars. The interior of the Cathedral is truly impressive - decorated with mosaics and frescos of the 11th century.

The tour continues to St. Andrew’s Church a striking piece of baroque architecture of XVIII c. built according to the designs of well-known architect B.Rastrelli on the top of Vladimir’s Hill. Andriivskyi Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St.Andrew’s Church will impress you with its unique atmosphere. It is a short street meandering down through luxuriant vegetation of Vladimir’s Hill to the picturesque Podil. Numerous art galleries and shops of folk and applied art make this romantic street the cultural center of Kiev.

Our full day tour will take you fist to the National Kiev-Pechersk Caves’ Monastery Historical and Cultural Reserve. One of the most famous Kiev attractions was founded in 1051 by the monks Antoniy and Feodosiy for the expansion of Kiev´s new religion - Christianity. The complex of Kiev-Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery includes the Nearby and Far-off caves , the Church of the Savior on Berestove, Holy Trinity Gate Church, St Nicholas´ Church and the Great Lavra Belfry, the highest in Ukraine (96,6 meters) as well as the fully reconstructed Assumption Cathedral. The majority of the structures were built in the Ukrainian Baroque style. The ensemble is built in harmony with the surrounding countryside and forms a beautiful and majestic silhouette of Kiev from the Dnipro river side.

After lunch you will visit the National Museum of World War II. The major exposition is located in 14 rooms covering the area of 5,000 square meters and includes more than 12,000 exhibits. The documents of military commanders and rank-and-file participants of the war; valuable collections of orders, medals and arms; unique things and documents of Nazi-occupation and liberation period attract the attention of numerous visitors of the Memorial. On the territory of the museum there is a large exposition of military equipment of Soviet epoch.

Tour to Pirogovo. This National museum meant to preserve the culture of Ukrainian people, is located in the suburbs of Kiev in the town of Pirogivo. Three hundred ancient rural huts and cottages collected from all over Ukraine can be seen in Pirogovo. The majority of them were moved to the museum and then reconstructed. Huts, wooden churches, water and wind mills, also clothes, kitchen utensils dating back to the period of the 17th century and leading up to the beginning of the 20th century give visitors a realistic impression of Ukrainian village life at that time.
