The hotel is nicely located on a short walking distance to metro station Tekhnologichesky Institut, which is a popular interchange station between the two major lines 1 and 2. All sights are only a couple of metro stations away, but you will also get easily to the south of city without getting blocked in traffic jams. This is especially important if you need to get to the airport on rush hour.
The adjacent small park isolates all noice from Moskovsky Prospekt efficiently. Personally, I prefer this location to those that are right next to Nevsky Prospekt.
The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the hotel restaurant is good. There is no minibar, but a fridge for your own goods. Two bottles of drinking water (still) per day are included in the room price. The breakfast is relatively good and in Finnish style, also porridge is available.
