In St. Petersburg there is now a "cool" bus service between bars around the center of the city running from 23:00 to 6:00 on Friday and Saturday nights!

Three new metro stations have opened recently in Moscow: Borisovo, Shipilovskaya and Zyablikovo. Both the metro in St. Petersburg and Moscow has been expanding recently. The new Admiralty station in St. Petersburg is expected to open this month.

Oranienbaum is a suburb just to the west of St. Petersburg on the Gulf of Finland. The palace and park along with the city center are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the only palace of the major ones in the vicinity of St. Petersburg that was not occupied by the Germans during WW II.
