Visit to Local Museums, 1hr

You will visit one of the local museums listed below, according to your interests. The Regional Lore Museum, founded in 1894 is the city’s oldest. The museum has a good display detailing the natural history of the Far East including a stuffed Amur or Siberian tiger and Steller’s sea cow. You will see fascinating artifacts and costumes of the indigenous people, an interesting archeological section, and a modern history. The Art museum displays of religious icons, Japanese paintings, some 19th century Russian paintings, ethnic handicrafts and contemporary art. The Historic Military Museum recreates the atmosphere of pre-revolutionary Khabarovsk. The museum displays exhibits and photographs, documenting the history of the Red Flag Eastern Military District as well as amour and weapons. The Archeological museum has displays documenting links between the ancient cultures of the prehistoric Far East region including world famous petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alyan and other remnants of the cultural heritage of the Golden Empire of the Jurchen people.

Fishing Lodge Excursion, 5hrs

This excursion is a great opportunity to fish and to rest, surrounded by nature, regardless whether you are a fisherman or not. This tour will help you to get to know the Nanaj culture. You will visit the Nanai cultural museum located in a local school, see petrogliphs-rock carvings from the 13th century BC, take pictures in Nanai traditional costumes, visit a local Nanai family and taste their traditional meals, view fish skin processing, wood carving and embroidery. Visit to a Dacha - typical Russian summer house, 5hrs

You will visit a traditional Russian summer house called a dacha. Many Russian families have dachas. A dacha is usually a wooden house consisting of one or two floors without much in the way of modern conveniences but possibly having a Russian bath (banya - similar to a sauna but with steam). You will taste one of Russia’s most famous dishes - shashlyk (grilled shish kabob) and salads and appetizers made from vegetables grown at the dacha. During the tour you will feel like a real Russian.
